Woodblock kimono prints of the 19th century are the inspiration for the Ukiyo-e collection, represented here by the Hinagiku maxi size diary. The woodblock prints were themselves meticulously reproduced enlargements of details taken from artwork of the Shogunate period between 1600 and 1867.
